Krupa completed her Masters in Social Work from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai specializing in Family and Child Welfare.

Krupa is a passionate Development Professional with 15+ years of experience in right based interventions. Her key achievements include successfully establishing the campaign against domestic child labourers and child sexual abuse at the city and state level in Maharashtra. She headed the Communications Department of Good Shepherd Homes, an NGO that works for the rehabilitation of street children and their families and helped build a robust network of national and international supporters for the cause.

Krupa has also authored and edited over 25 organizational publications that have international readership, apart from conducting training and workshops for government and non-government staff.

Presently, Krupa works as Senior Manager NGO Relations with Praise Foundation, Chennai – a not for profit that interfaces between corporates and NGOs to build a mutual platform to effectively address social concerns. Through Praise Foundation, Krupa has monitored and coordinated over 400 small and large scale social initiatives in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Telangana and Maharashtra in the past 5 years.
